History

Voronoi Literacy Centre (VLC) was founded with a mission to empower students of all ages through evidence-based literacy instruction. Recognizing the growing need for specialized support in reading, writing, and academic success, VLC began as a small initiative dedicated to helping struggling learners.

Over the years, we have expanded our services to include Homework Club, After-School Classes, Saturday and Full-Time Classes, as well as specialized Reading Programs. Our commitment to excellence has also led to the introduction of programs for students with special education needs, study skills development, and vacation learning camps. 

Today, VLC stands as a trusted educational hub, serving students across various academic levels and abilities. Through innovative teaching strategies and a student-centered approach, we continue to transform learning experiences and build strong foundations for lifelong success.

Alina Lewis [MSEd] – Education Consultant

With a passion for literacy and student success, Alina Lewis founded VLC to create a space where students of all abilities could receive the support they need to thrive. As an experienced educator and advocate for evidence-based teaching strategies, she leads VLC with a vision of inclusivity, innovation, and academic excellence.

Supported by a team of skilled teachers, tutors, and education professionals, VLC continues to grow as a trusted learning center, offering programs that empower students to achieve their full potential.

📚 Ms. Harripersad – Senior Educator delivering dynamic, inclusive, and engaging lessons.

✏ Ms. Mohamed – Mid-Primary Specialist helping learners build strong academic foundations.

💖 Ms. Geeta – Education Assistant providing essential support for students with medical needs.
